Just moved to Milan, any tips?

So, I'm a remote worker and With a population of 1,591, Milan is a small town. Rent is about $1,033/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $185,400, which is actually reasonable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Any advice would be great. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up.
