Curious what people think. Just moved here 4 months ago and Homes are going for about $377,400 on average. The median home value here is around $377,400, which seems about average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Bought a house here in 2021 and the quality of life is solid. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to LA it's hit or miss.

I've lived in East for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Strong job market in several industries
- The cultural scene scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Urban sprawl is real

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
