Considering Milford Mill vs Los Angeles -help me decide

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a college student here and The median home value here is around $269,900, which seems about average. The unemployment rate is 4.8%, which is about average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Old Town. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in education. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

My experience has been mostly positive. it's exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'd watch out for is community vibe. Other than that, Hope this helps!.
