Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a teacher here and Homes are going for about $269,900 on average. The unemployment rate is 4.8%, which is about average. Rent is about $1,576/month for a decent place. With a population of 31,939, Milford Mill is a smaller city. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. Anyone in a similar situation? The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
