Biggest downsides of living in Mililani Mauka?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm retired and Poverty rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $2,389/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $139,564 in Mililani Mauka. It's a a small town city with about 21,967 people. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Growing food scene
- Easy commute
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Hot summers
- Not very walkable
- Lack of diversity
- Chain restaurants dominate
Would love some local perspective. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
