Considering Mililani Town vs Atlanta -help me decide

OK so Median household income is $124,123, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Would love some local perspective. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Used to live on the Westside side, now on the Oak Park side. Completely different vibe. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Charlotte about 13 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are pricey, gas is average.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
