Been meaning to ask this. My family moved here when I was a kid. The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $98,502, which feels pretty solid for the area. Poverty rate is 5.5%, which is pretty low. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Any advice would be great. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Bought a house here in 2018 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone up significantly since then.
