My family moved here when I was a kid. Poverty rate is 5.2%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $124,101, which feels pretty solid for the area. Household incomes average around $124,101 in Millersburg. It's a a small town city with about 3,096 people. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. Appreciate any input. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want healthcare, then yeah this place is great. But if healthcare matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Phoenix, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Diverse dining options
- The cost of living scene is underrated
The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Winters are long and cold
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's been a really good experience overall. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Chicago about 14 years ago. The main reasons were work and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Affordable housing options
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are competitive, gas is excellent.
Socially, it exceeded my expectations. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.
I've been in Meadowbrook for 5 years. Moved from Pittsburgh for quality of life. Here's my honest, detailed take:
**Housing:**
The market right now is better than expected. We bought in 2019 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. Older homes are where the value is.
**Employment:**
government is strong here. finance is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are competitive for the area.
**Quality of Life:**
it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor scene is solid - we have ski resorts within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.
**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Meadowbrook schools are tough. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.
**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Limited high-paying job options. Can feel isolated. And weather can be frustrating.
**Bottom line:**
For families, I'd say this is a 8/10. Would recommend to anyone considering it.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in Eastside area are challenging. Kids love it here.

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 10 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Public transit is decent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.
