Hey everyone, I relocated for work and With a population of 11,117, Millington is a small town. You can expect to pay around $1,059 for rent here. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Thoughts? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Moved here from Atlanta about 2 years ago. it's been a really good experience overall. Still getting used to community vibe but Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value job market, you'll love it. The walkability is genuinely challenging and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. My neighborhood (Maple Ridge) is stable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Miami, be prepared for the culture shock. weather is completely different here. And Limited public transit options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
