Best neighborhoods to rent in Millville?

Longtime lurker here, Median household income is $67,190, which feels about average for the area. Rent is about $1,207/month for a decent place. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Worth the trade-offs?

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Seattle it's excellent.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Raleigh about 2 years ago. The main reasons were work and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Decent public transit for the size

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are developing, gas is improving.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've been living here for 1 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The housing market is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
