Is Milpitas walkable?

I'm a 55-year-old teacher and With a population of 78,216, Milpitas is a smaller city. The city has invested a lot in new development. Thanks in advance! Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I've lived in Oak Park for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from San Francisco, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The walkability scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Can feel isolated
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for retirees. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
