The truth about Milpitas — honest review
Been a Milpitas resident for 1 years. Here's my honest take:
Pros:
- Strong job market
- Diverse food scene
- Reasonable housing
Cons:
- Some areas are rundown
- Property taxes are high
Overall I'd rate it 6/10. It's not perfect but there are worse places to be.

Traffic is the worst part honestly. But if you live near work it's fine.

Been here 20 years. The city has changed a lot but overall for the better.

Respectfully disagree about the job market. In my experience, there are good opportunities if you network.

I work in logistics and finding a job wasn't hard. Took about 4 months.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is drive around neighborhoods at different times before committing. Makes a big difference.

I've lived in Maple Heights for 5 years and it's still one of the best decisions I made.
