Is Milton worth moving to in 2026?

First post here. I'm single, late 50s, and Homes are going for about $376,600 on average. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. What would you do? Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 5 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is walkability. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Meadowbrook side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
