Anyone work in healthcare in Milton?

With a population of 10,485, Milton is a small town. Rent is about $1,542/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 69--F, so the weather is moderate. Poverty rate is 11.4%, which is around average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Thanks! Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want outdoor recreation, then yeah this place is great. But if pet-friendliness matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Greenfield. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in engineering. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I've lived in West for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good healthcare facilities
- The walkability scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for couples. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a writer who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 13 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Strong job market in several industries
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Dating scene is rough

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are pricey, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Highland. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in government. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
