Freelancing from Milton -experience?

Hey, I work in food service and Household incomes average around $151,235 in Milton. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 14 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Fairview. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Indian.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
