Hey everyone, My partner and I are You can expect to pay around $1,853 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Decent public transit for the size
- The nightlife scene is better than expected
The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Not very walkable outside downtown
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for retirees. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Came here for retirement and stayed because it's improved dramatically in recent years. The housing market is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
