Quick question about Milton
Hi all, I've been here for 1 years and Rent is about $1,853/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $712,200, which is pretty steep. Crime rate is something to consider -Milton sits at 37.4 per 100K. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Should I be concerned? Cheers. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
