Planning a move to Mineral Wells -neighborhoods?

We have two kids and Household incomes average around $54,210 in Mineral Wells. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

As someone who grew up here, it's improved dramatically in recent years. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much developing but now it's surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Sunset. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Hope this helps!.

Used to live on the Westside side, now on the The Heights side. Completely different vibe. it's been a really good experience overall.
