First post here. Rent is about $1,329/month for a decent place. With a population of 427K, Minneapolis is a mid-size city. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Does this match your experience? TIA!

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cultural scene. I have mixed feelings honestly. Worth doing your research before committing.

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is job market. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is community vibe. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Internet is challenging in most areas.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The cultural scene is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
