The truth about Minneapolis — honest review
Been a Minneapolis resident for 7 years. Here's my honest take:
Pros:
- Great weather year-round
- Low crime in most areas
- Family-friendly
Cons:
- Some areas are rundown
- Job market is niche
Overall I'd rate it 8/10. It's not perfect but there are worse places to be.

Coming from LA, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are slightly more expensive but housing makes up for it.
