How is the nightlife in Minnetonka?

Longtime lurker here, I relocated for work and Homes are going for about $456,200 on average. With a population of 53,256, Minnetonka is a smaller city. It's a a smaller city city with about 53,256 people. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Has anyone dealt with this? Any help is appreciated. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from Houston about 15 years ago. The main reasons were family and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Close to major attractions
- Diverse dining options
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Nightlife is limited

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are growing, gas is challenging.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
