Commute times in Minot -how bad?

Hey folks, The median home value here is around $254,400, which seems about average. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Any advice would be great. Any help is appreciated. The weather takes some getting used to.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 3 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The North side vs the Eastside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Used to live on the The Heights side, now on the Riverside side. Completely different vibe. I genuinely enjoy living here.
