Considering Mira Monte vs Indianapolis -help me decide

Random thought, I relocated for work and Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. Household incomes average around $77,900 in Mira Monte. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Is this normal for Mira Monte? Thanks in advance! Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 5 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the West side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
