What's it really like living in Mission?

Hey, We're a young couple and Homes are going for about $160,800 on average. It's a a smaller city city with about 86,234 people. You can expect to pay around $931 for rent here. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Am I wrong here? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's been a really good experience overall. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

As someone who grew up here, the quality of life is solid. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cultural scene used to be much affordable but now it's challenging.
