Best coffee shops in Mission Viejo?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. Household incomes average around $136,071 in Mission Viejo. Rent is about $2,713/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $2,713 for rent here. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Is this normal for Mission Viejo? The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it exceeded my expectations. Compared to New York it's excellent.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Eastside for 8 years. Moved from Chicago for work. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is underrated. We bought in 2020 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable.

**Employment:**
consulting is strong here. consulting is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are stable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I love the pace of life here. The outdoor scene is surprisingly good - we have national forests within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Eastside schools are surprisingly good. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Not a lot of cultural diversity. Homeless population growing downtown. And walkability can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For singles, I'd say this is a 9/10. Definitely worth checking out.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want weather, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

As someone who grew up here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. A lot has changed in the past few years though. school system used to be much growing but now it's decent.

Moved here from Pittsburgh about 13 years ago. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Still getting used to nightlife but Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 9 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Maple Ridge side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it was the best decision I ever made. Internet is solid in most areas.

Bought a house here in 2016 and it's exactly what I was looking for. Property values have gone up significantly since then.
