Planning a move to Missoula -neighborhoods?

Longtime lurker here, Just moved here 2 months ago and Average temperature is around 45--F, so expect cold winters. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 15 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is weather. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The South side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
