Missouri City in the winter -how bad?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and The median home value here is around $281,600, which seems about average. Median household income is $96,746, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $281,600 on average. Household incomes average around $96,746 in Missouri City. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if public transit matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value public transit, you'll love it. The cultural scene is genuinely surprisingly good and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (North) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Atlanta, be prepared for the culture shock. school system is completely different here. And Limited public transit options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
