Random thought, I'm a college student here and The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. With a population of 10,168, Molalla is a small town. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Weather-wise, the summers are average and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from San Francisco, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good internet infrastructure
- The dating scene scene is pretty good
The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Not very walkable outside downtown
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for young professionals. Good luck with whatever you decide..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is healthcare. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.
