Best hidden gems in Mondovi

First post here. Born and raised here. Crime rate is something to consider -Mondovi sits at 333.5 per 100K. Rent is about $822/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I wrong here? Any help is appreciated. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it was the best decision I ever made. Internet is better than expected in most areas.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if cost of living matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
