OK so I'm a nurse at the local hospital and You can expect to pay around $1,216 for rent here. Rent is about $1,216/month for a decent place. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I wrong here? Appreciate any input. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The housing market scene is better than expected
The downsides:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Dating scene is rough
