Housing in Monroe compared to Raleigh

OK so I've been here for 7 years and Household incomes average around $67,265 in Monroe. The unemployment rate is 3.5%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Am I overthinking this? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I'm a pharmacist and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. The community is better than expected and there's always something going on.

Weather-wise, the summers are pretty good and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.
