I've lived in Eastside for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good healthcare facilities
- The healthcare scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for young professionals. Feel free to reach out with questions..
