Unpopular opinion about Monroeville
Hey folks, I'm a 55-year-old software engineer and The median home value here is around $197,400, which is actually reasonable. With a population of 28,383, Monroeville is a smaller city. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
