I'm single, late 40s, and The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $77,605 in Monterey Park. Crime rate is something to consider -Monterey Park sits at 208.5 per 100K. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Any help is appreciated. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
