Longtime lurker here, Born and raised here. It's a a small town city with about 4,157 people. Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Montesano sits at 74.4 per 100K. Rent is about $1,201/month for a decent place. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Would love some local perspective.
