Is Montevallo good for remote workers?

Hello, My partner and I are Homes are going for about $210,400 on average. Median household income is $54,665, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Is this normal for Montevallo?

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..
