My family moved here when I was a kid. Crime rate is something to consider -Montevideo sits at 177.5 per 100K. Homes are going for about $137,600 on average. You can expect to pay around $832 for rent here. With a population of 5,303, Montevideo is a small town. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Let me know your thoughts. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
