Co-working spaces in Montgomery?

Been meaning to ask this. Born and raised here. With a population of 198K, Montgomery is a mid-size city. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much.

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say the quality of life is solid. The weather is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I'm a pharmacist and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from San Francisco about 15 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Nice parks and green spaces

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are established, gas is underrated.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Westside. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in legal. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to Chicago it's excellent.
