Is Montgomery worth it salary-wise?

Anyone else feel this way? Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Montgomery sits at 150.6 per 100K. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Is this normal for Montgomery? The suburbs are where most families end up. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Bought a house here in 2016 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone up significantly since then.
