Best neighborhoods to rent in Montvale?

Hello, Poverty rate is 5.7%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $183,664, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $688,500 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What do you all think? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is community vibe. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.

Bought a house here in 2017 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want food scene, then yeah this place is great. But if job market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Fairview. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in retail. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Definitely worth checking out..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in East. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in legal. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
