Best apartments in Moody under ?

Hey everyone, I work in automotive and You can expect to pay around $1,463 for rent here. It's a a small town city with about 13,378 people. Poverty rate is 6.6%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Pros:
- Low crime in most areas
- Walkable downtown
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Not very walkable
- Boring for young people
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Homelessness issues downtown
TIA! I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Cedar Grove for 9 years. Moved from Seattle for retirement. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is improving. We bought in 2018 at k and it's now worth up significantly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. Lots of new construction which should help.

**Employment:**
marketing is strong here. education is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are stable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The outdoor scene is tough - we have desert landscapes within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Cedar Grove schools are improving. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Limited shopping options. Homeless population growing downtown. And pet-friendliness can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For young professionals, I'd say this is a 9/10. Feel free to reach out with questions.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Springfield. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in education. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 4 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the walkability is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Westside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..

Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it was the best decision I ever made.
