How much do you pay for rent in Moore?

So, I've been here for 5 years and Homes are going for about $189,300 on average. Household incomes average around $76,941 in Moore. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Any advice would be great. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Came here for weather and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The safety is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Hot take but it's not perfect but it works for me. I know a lot of people disagree but after 4 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've lived in Fairview for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Lots of new development happening
- The public transit scene is decent

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Came here for quality of life and stayed because the quality of life is solid. The job market is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Sunset for 12 years. Moved from San Diego for family. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is underrated. We bought in 2015 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. The market is competitive but not impossible.

**Employment:**
construction is strong here. education is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are developing for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's improved dramatically in recent years. The outdoor scene is better than expected - we have biking trails within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Sunset schools are pretty good. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Summers can be brutally hot. Limited shopping options. And cultural scene can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For remote workers, I'd say this is a 5/10. Hope this helps!. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value dating scene, you'll love it. The school system is genuinely pretty good and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (Pine Hills) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Atlanta, be prepared for the culture shock. job market is completely different here. And Urban sprawl is real.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
