Is Moorefield worth it salary-wise?

OK so Born and raised here. It's a a small town city with about 5,598 people. Rent is about $2,706/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $802,700 on average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Has anyone dealt with this? Thanks! Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Downtown. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in marketing. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Mexican.
