Biggest downsides of living in Moraine?

Hey folks, My partner and I are It's a a small town city with about 6,503 people. With a population of 6,503, Moraine is a small town. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from LA about 1 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good internet infrastructure
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are competitive, gas is tough.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.
