Cheapest neighborhoods in Morganton?

Hi all, My family moved here when I was a kid. You can expect to pay around $909 for rent here. Poverty rate is 24.3%, which is higher than I expected. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What are your go-to spots? TIA! Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.
