What's it really like living in Morris?

Been living here since 2021. It's a a small town city with about 2,546 people. The median home value here is around $233,600, which is actually reasonable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 9 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Springfield side vs the Riverside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
