Worst things about Morton Grove nobody talks about

Hello, Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Should I be concerned? Cheers. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a writer who relocated here from LA about 9 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Affordable housing options
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Urban sprawl is real

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are growing, gas is tough.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
