Job market in Moses Lake for tech?

Crime rate is something to consider -Moses Lake sits at 458.8 per 100K. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Should I be concerned?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from LA about 2 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Dating scene is rough
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are pricey, gas is decent.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Feel free to reach out with questions..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. I have mixed feelings honestly. Worth doing your research before committing.

As someone who grew up here, the quality of life is solid. A lot has changed in the past few years though. nightlife used to be much growing but now it's decent.

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are competitive. You get used to it after the first year.
