Just moved here 3 months ago and Rent is about $1,043/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 14.6%, which is around average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want housing market, then yeah this place is great. But if community vibe matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I'm a software engineer and I've found I love the pace of life here. The community is challenging and there's always something going on.

I've lived in Riverside for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good healthcare facilities
- The traffic scene is pretty good
The downsides:
- Limited shopping options
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Bought a house here in 2021 and I genuinely enjoy living here. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

The food scene here is hit or miss. Tons of great Southern places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.
