Curious what people think. I'm a remote worker and Crime rate is something to consider -Mound Bayou sits at 1,238.3 per 100K. With a population of 1,526, Mound Bayou is a small town. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Thanks in advance! The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
